According to several reports, the NBA Lockout is officially over after the NBA players and owners reached a tentative agreement on a new CBA.
The new deal would allow the 2011-2012 NBA season to begin on Christmas Day, with the defending NBA champion Dallas Mavericks taking on the Miami Heat, along with the Boston Celtics vs the New York Knicks and the Los Angeles Knicks going up against the Chicago Bulls.
If officially approved, the new deal projects a 66-game schedule, with training camps opening on December 9th, and the first three games of the season being played on December 25th.
