NBA Player News — 07 January 2010
Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports is reporting from unspecified sources that Gilbert Arenas is likely done for the season “at the very least”.
Arenas making a mockery of his situation with teammate Javaris Crittenton has apparently enraged NBA commish David Stern, and the point guard’s prospects for playing anytime soon are getting worse by the day.
If you’re an owner of Arenas is fantasy leagues, get rid of him as soon as possible if you weren’t quick enough to do it already.
On a side note, with Arenas being listed as out “indefinitely”, look for the Washington Wizards to pursue a trade for an upgrade at point guard. Chicago’s Kirk Hinrich and former Wizard Steve Blake have surfaced in trade rumors.
