I actually like the trade. Casspi is an upgrade over Jamison (who needs to go, anyways), and Hickson was pretty inconsistent at times. Thompson will be fine, and as he grows into the player we all know he can become, Hickson would become more and more expendable.

And why you clownin on a future first rounder? The Kings aren’t winning anytime soon, so that could potentiall turn into another lottery pick! Good trade. Go Cavs!

I don’t care about the future 1st rounder. Casspi for friggin’ Hickson? What a stupid move by the Cavs. I get that Casspi gives them a slight upgrade at small forward, but its not that great, and they lose a potential stud in Hickson.

He was growing up on a sh&t team…and now he goes to the Kings and completes a pretty stellar (at least offensively) starting lineup. I get the Cavs landed Thompson, but he’s far from polished, and what’s the harm in playing them both at the same time? Hickson has proved he can play center…

Just a dumbass move. Just when you think the Cavs are gaining ground, they trade away a nice piece of the puzzle for a foreign guy who can’t pass. Fantastic.

I’m a Knicks fan, so I second the Shumpert reach to the Nth degree. what a f%ck up there for the Knicks.

Isaiah Thomas HAS to be involved now. I don’t see how else they could mess a 17th overall pick up like this. This dude is one of the most erratic and idiotic players I’ve ever seen. Who cares about his size and versatility? he plays like a dumbass.

They should have traded up for Fredette or Vucevic. Not this f’n clown.

dude, C Joseph is so talented its not even funny. I get he wasn’t “projected” to be a first round pick, but come on, it was the end of the first and this guy is just a little under-developed. the Spurs know exactyl what they’re doing. trust me. joseph is going to evolve into their future starter at PG and make T Parker expendable.
