1. Stockpile as many assets as possible for the future
2. Save money to get under the luxury tax

This is not the stuff legends are made of.
True legends, guys who would be called “kings”, don’t shrug off a 30-point blow-out loss in one of the most important games of their career.
They don’t brush this type of loss off their shoulder with comments like, “I spoil a lot of people with my play. When you have three bad games in a seven-year career, it is easy to point that out”.

LeBron James
I’ve been sitting and staring at a blank screen for about 20 minutes. The only thought that’s running through my head that I would feel comfortable (and that would be appropriate) writing down is “why did I agree to write something about this game in the first place?”
All day before this game, and even yesterday, a weird feeling ran through my veins. But it wasn’t one of paranoia, or nervousness, or excitement—it was a feeling of nothingness. (more…)

We’re into the final month of the NBA regular season, and there are still important races going on throughout both conferences.
While the Cavaliers and Lakers each have their No. 1 seeds all but locked up, the rest of the teams are all battling it out for position.
In the West, just five games separate the second-seeded Nuggets from the eighth-seeded Trail Blazers.
Here’s how they stack up 1-30: (more…)
