ThorntonWe knew New Orleans’ rookie guard Marcus Thornton had some game.

Analysts all over were marveling over what a steal he was when the Hornets got him with a second-round pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, and after some solid early season games, everyone who backed him coming out of LSU felt vindicated.

NBA Injury Impact: Chris Paul to Miss 1-2 Months With Knee Injury

Chris PaulNew Orleans Hornets’ star point guard, Chris Paul, is expected to miss up to two months after tearing cartilage in his left knee in a loss to the Chicago Bulls last Friday night.

Paul will reportedly undergo arthroscopic surgery on Monday to repair the damage, and while an exact timetable, or even the severity of the injury, is not completely known, Paul is expected to recover in time to finish the regular season. (more…)
