NBA fans are blessed with a beautiful slate full of seven basketball games for Tuesday night – including two sweet NBATV games thanks to NBA Fan Night.
The Sacramento Kings kick things off in Cleveland against the Cavaliers (on NBATV, no less), as well as the action in general at 7:00 pm, Eastern. That’s just the tip of the iceberg, though, as there are several enticing matchups in a night that is capped by the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Lakers at 10:30 pm Eastern.
This is a good night for to try to win some cash in fantasy basketball, and it’s also a good night to win some money by using our NBA Picks. Get ready for tonight’s hardwood action as we preview and pick all seven NBA showdowns:
Kings @ Cavaliers
The Kings and Cavs are both just awful, but at least Sacramento has a little more star power and seems a scorch less dysfunctional. Cleveland won’t like the Kings coming into town and mopping the floor, but they just might.
Pick: Kings 111, Cavs 97
Mavericks @ Bobcats
Charlotte is a lot tougher than people give them credit for, while the Mavs don’t play any defense at all. At least their offense sparkles with the best of them. I’m sure Al Jefferson will have his way thrive over with the Mavericks’ weak inside defense, but overall Dallas is the better team and should take care of business here.
Pick: Mavs 113, Bobcats 104
Wizards @ Grizzlies
John Wall has been mostly beastly lately and Bradley Beal is no longer on a minutes restriction. With that said, Memphis is back to playing insanely brutal defense and the Wiz are going to find it awfully hard to top them in Memphis.
Pick: Grizz 98, Wizards 94
Hawks @ Bulls
The Hawks and Bulls are probably on a level playing field here, as both sides are lacking star power these days. However, Chicago is at home and plays better defense. It might be ugly and you may not want to watch, but at least Bulls fans should be able to rejoice. Somewhat.
Pick: Bulls 87, Hawks 83
Heat @ Suns
The Heat seem to play down to their opponents these days, while the Suns play up. Phoenix isn’t really an elite team right now, but they play well at home and rarely drop a dud. This one will be very close to the end, but I can’t see the Heat losing after getting embarrassed by the Jazz the other night.
Pick: Heat 104, Suns 99
Thunder @ Blazers
This is without a doubt the game to watch tonight, as Kevin Durant and LaMarcus Aldridge go toe to toe. Ridge and his Blazers have the slight edge thanks to better health and this one being in Portland, but their defense is inferior and God help those who bet against Durantula.
Pick: Thunder 106, Blazers 103
Jazz @ Lakers
This is a battle of two bottom feeders, to be sure, but the Lakers at least tend to put on an offensive show most nights, while the Jazz are a fairly tough out, as well. Look for Utah to bring their offense to keep up in this one, but I like L.A. to get the win with Steve Nash in the starting lineup.
Pick: Lakers 112, Jazz 108
