2012 NBA Playoffs: Thunder vs Spurs Game 5 Predictions | 6/4/2012

Four games into the Western Conference Finals and in each game the home team has held court with convincing wins. The Oklahoma City Thunder got even in Games 3 and 4 at home, but now the have the tough task of having to win at least one game in San Antonio if they want to move onto the NBA Finals.

As expected, Kevin Durant has been the best player for the Thunder in this series with 116 point in the first four game combined, while James Harden and Russell Westbrook have averaged just over 34 points per game.

Tony Parker will need to have a better game than he did in Game 4, as he was only 5-for-15 from the floor and ended up with only 12 points.

Let’s take a look and see who I like in our NBA Pick for Game 5 tonight:

Oklahoma City Thunder @ San Antonio Spurs 6:00 pm ET on TNT (Series tied, 2-2)

The Good news for the San Antonio Spurs is that they have yet to lose three games in a row at any point this season, so with two consecutive losses its a good bet that a third won’t happen tonight. Tim Duncan will have to play a lot more like he did in Game 4 when he bounced back with 21 points after recording two straight 11 point games.

I think the home team holds court once again and cover the five-point spread, Spurs 110 Thunder 103.
