Stats

Strengths

Really a superb athlete. His quickness and explosiveness are his bread and butter on both sides of the floor. Can really get by defenders with ease, and has the ability to finish at the rim in a number of ways. Just a really explosive player. Very fluid and natural, and can finish plays with tenacity. Has a solid handle and good court vision, which has some talking about him playing the point at the next level. Has the perfect size and frame to play shooting guard. Has a solid stroke and has good numbers, which could help him develop into a killer shooter with time and hard work. Very good on the glass for a guard.

Weaknesses

The point guard talk might be a bit premature. Doesn’t have the best vision or instincts like a more natural point guard. Has the potential to get there, but would be lost if he started at the point in the NBA tomorrow. Tries to do too much at times and can force the issue. Needs to work for his shot better and become more comfortable operating offensively without the ball. Shot selection and overall decision-making just isn’t there yet. Isn’t an elite defender, although he has the size and athleticism to become one. A pretty tough and fearless player, but could stand to bulk up to handle the rigors of taking the ball inside at the next level.
